White Sauce Pasta is a creamy pasta dish made with a basic white sauce, or béchamel, and often mixed with vegetables or chicken. It’s a comforting and versatile meal.

Ingredients:

  • 200g pasta (penne, fettuccine, or any other)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 cup cooked vegetables or grilled chicken (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

How to Make It:

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Make the White Sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and whisk to form a roux. Gradually add milk, whisking constantly to avoid lumps. Cook until the sauce thickens. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  3. Combine: Add the cooked pasta and optional vegetables or chicken to the sauce. Stir to coat evenly.
  4. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
